

Ralph “Lefty” Tyler, 85 years of age died Monday, September 24th, 2012 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born November 9th, 1926 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Curtis and Nellie Kime Tyler. Lefty formerly worked for Nadorff Beverage Distributing Company and at Vic’s Café in New Albany. He also was employed at Southern Indiana Rehab Center in New Albany. Ralph was a U.S. Navy Veteran of W. W. #2 and was a member of Hobart Beach Post #1693 V.F.W. and Bonnie Sloan Post #28 American Legion. He was the widower of Betty Tyler who died in 2001 and was also preceded in death by his parents, a son Rieke Meyer, brother Ray Tyler and sister Joyce Martin.

Six Grandchildren: Adam, James, Summer, Charles, Becky,
and Larisa
Five Great-Grandchildren: Gavin, Dawn, Steven, Andrew, and Andrianna
Two Brothers: Tommy Tyler Floyds Knobs, IN
Jerry Tyler Louisville, KY
Reception of family and friends will be from 5:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday and after 8:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service with Military Honors will be 10:00 am Friday September 28th in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
