OBITUARY
Raymond L. Arnold
Born August 27, 1921
Raymond Lee Arnold, 90 years of age, died Tuesday November 22, 2011 at the Highland Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Florida. Ray was born August 27th, 1921 in Lanesville, IN to the late E.G. and Minnie Kreiger Arnold. He was the founder in 1959 of the Raymond L. Arnold Painting Company and owned and operated the company along with his son Mike until his retirement in 1988. Currently the company is operated and run by his grandson Micah B. Arnold. Raymond was the widower of Mary Jane Hardin Arnold, a member of the DePauw Lodge #338 and New Albany Lodge #37 F. & A. M., and a lifetime member of the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades. Raymond was preceded in death by a grandson Mark Thompson.
Survivors include: Daughter: Judy L. Thompson (Tom) New Albany, IN Son: Mike R. Arnold (Shirley) New Albany, IN Five Grandchildren: Angela Thompson-Loesch (Andrew), Jennifer Arnold, Stephanie Arnold-Breger (Douglas), Micah B. Arnold (Mary), and Nathaniel Thompson (Dana). Seven Great-Grandchildren: Savannah, Garreth, Kaden, Chase, Callie, Tristan, & Isabella. One Great-Great Grandchild: Caleb Brother: Harold Arnold New Albany, IN
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Tuesday and after 8:00 am Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-GracelandMemorialPark. Online condolences may be made at www.kraftfuneralservice.net.

Iam very saddened for the loss of such a wonderful man , & I know what he meant to all of you , the world would be a much better place with more men like him , he was one of the few great one's , the world could take lesson's from him , I am sorry for your loss , and I am sorry the world will be that much more drab without him , it was a privilege knowing Raymond .

Judy and Tom, I am so sorry to hear about your father's passing. I know that to some it seems like a hard time to have to go through grieving at this time of year, but since my Mom died at Christmas time and my
