

Rebecca “Becky” Friedman Gettelfinger, 58 years of age died Tuesday at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany after complications from kidney failure. Becky was a Graduate of the Sullivan Business School, a housewife, a mail carrier for the Floyd Knobs post office for several years, and the CFO of their family business Logo Apparel Plus. Becky enjoyed sewing, playing euchre, bingo with her family and friends, and loved playing with her favorite dog Dillon. She was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, and was preceded in death by her parents Cletus and Mary Friedman. Becky never forgot her main goal in life which was to be there for her family.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St, New Albany. Her Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Saturday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church with burial to follow in church cemetery. A prayer service will be held 4:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
