Rebecca Ann "Becky" Durham Steele

Rebecca Ann “Becky” (Durham) Steele, 67, died peacefully Friday, October 12, 2018. The daughter of the late Jeanie Wilson Durham, Becky was born September 30, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky. Becky was retired from the Jefferson County Public Schools. She was a fantastic seamstress, enjoyed creating things with crafts, and she was a planner. She planned everything from parties and events to trips. Becky loved to travel with the “Crazy Ladies” and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Gary Steele; daughter, Anastasia Manaugh (Derek); grandchildren, Landon and Emery Manaugh; sisters, Tammy Durham, Ginger McIntyre, Robin Denzik, and Marcia Lattray; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Durham. A Celebration of Becky’s Life will be 12 pm ~ 6 pm Sunday, October 14th, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A Memorial Service will be held at 6 pm Sunday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Down Syndrome of Louisville, Inc., 5001 S.
