Reverend Leroy Brown

Reverend Leroy Brown, 91, of New Albany, Indiana passed away March 9, 2020 at Sellersburg Healthcare. He was born on November 1, 1928 in Pulaski, Tennessee to the late Sylvester and Maggie Brown. Leroy was retired from Philip Morris Tobacco Company and a ordained Baptist Minister. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jenell Brown; a daughter, Shirley Temple Brown; and 13 brothers and sisters. Leroy is survived by seven children, Troy (Elizabeth) Brown, Leroy Brown Jr., Betty Lee Catching, Darnell Brown, Janet Louise (Bryant) Brown, Gary Brown and Jerome Brown; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10-12 on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with cremation to follow. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Alzheimer's Association. The family would like to thank the staff of Sellersburg Healthcare and Diversicare of Providence for their care and compassion.
