Rhoda Kay Smith

Rhoda Kay Smith,76, of New Albany, Indiana passed away April 17, 2023 at Rolling Hills Healthcare. She was born on August 7, 1946, in Milltown, Indiana to the late James H. Bennett Sr. and Ruth E. Byrum Bennett. She was a retired School Teacher with the New Albany Floyd County School System. She attended Northside Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Loyal Stanley Smith. Rhoda is survived by a brother, James H. Bennett Jr. (Susan Harper); her guardians, Matthew & Barbara Walker; niece and nephews, Gibbs Bennett, Ruth Bennett and Chris (Brittany) Bennett. Visitation for Rhoda will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 12:00 PM, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with burial at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
