Richard M. Goldstein M.D.

Richard M. Goldstein M.D., 77 years of age died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born June 7, 1936 to the late Moses and Ida (Goodman) Goldstein. Dr. Goldstein was a surgeon for over 50 years and operated the Goodman Clinic in Charlestown, Indiana. He practiced at Clark, Floyd, and St. Catherine Hospitals and served as a Captain M.D. in the U.S. Army. Dr. Goldstein loved golf, travel, and most of all his family and wife of 28 years, Patty. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of his family and many patients that he served throughout the years.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Patricia Kay Hublar Goldstein; sons, David A. Goldstein and wife Heather, Ben A. Goldstein and wife Laura; step-son, Kevin A. Reed; grandchildren, A.J., Matthew, Jonus, and Elias Goldstein; sister, Carol Lissack.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday and after 9:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Friday March 28, 2014 at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Funeral Chapel with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
