Richard L. Woods

Richard L. Woods, age 67 passed away at his home on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Richard was born on July 31,1957, in Salem, Indiana to the late Alexander "Alex" and Geraldine "Jerry" F. Woods. Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved to go bowling and held a high score of 299. He also enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and going to the races, but mostly enjoyed the peace of smoking on his porch.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 31 years, Tammy Woods; daughter, Antoinette "Toni" Woods.

Richard is survived by his children, Brian (Natalie) Woods, Melissa Pfund, Stephanie Stottman, Bobby Woods and Aaron (Tracy) Woods; grandchildren, Thayne (Mady), Corey, Julian, Ethan, and Olivia; great grandson, Bentley; brothers, David Woods and Dana "Danny" Woods; and his devoted cat, Savory.

A Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. His Funeral Service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with a private burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
