Robert L. Kitterman

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Claud Kitterman.

He is survived by his sister, Theda Kitterman Martin; two nieces Lindsey Martin Pick, and Sarah Martin; one great niece Ainsley Pick; and one great nephew Gael Hernandez.

Robert graduated from New Albany High School in 1964. He later attended the University of Louisville, and graduated from Indiana University Southeast. He served 4 years in the United States Army within the Army Security Agency stationed in Ethiopia and Korea.

He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle always finding time to support and care for his family. He was also an avid reader, book collector, and supporter of his local libraries.

A private family service will be held at a later date with internment at Kraft Graceland Cemetery in New Albany Indiana.

The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to all of the medical staff at the Louisville VA Medical Center as well as to the many dedicated caregivers and support agencies who assisted with his care.
