Robert "Bobby" L. Rogers Sr.

Robert L. "Bobby" Rogers Sr., 67, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. Bobby was born December 12, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Carl and Jeanette Houchin Rogers. He was retired from Midwest Veneers Company and was a Remax real estate broker. Bobby was the 2002 past president of the Harvest Homecoming Festival, past chairman of the board of Obelisk Federal Credit Union and served on the board of directors for the Louisville Children's Science Center. He volunteered many hours with Hosparus of Southern Indiana, Metro United Way and several other local charities. Bobby is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Snelling Rogers; son, Bobby Rogers, Jr. (Eldora); daughter, Dawn Rogers Easton (Alex); sister, Joyce Janes; two granddaughters, Hayley Rogers and Isabelle Easton; and two grandsons, Josh Rogers and Chase Rogers. Memorial Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
