Robert Alton Smith, II, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away April 6, 2020 at Norton Women's and Children's Hospital. He was born on August 3, 1939 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Robert A. Smith and Katherine Lindsay Sauer. He was retired from Bob Isgrigg Company and was of Episcopal faith. He was a United States Army veteran and serving in Korea and later transferring to the United States Army Reserves where he was a major. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Indiana University.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Annette G. Shaw; two children, Roy (Aubrey) Smith and Carla (Matthew) Laberman; grandchildren, Caroline, Makenzie, Bryce, Luke, Emma and Arran; a brother, Joe Sauer; and two cousins, Donald Noble Smith and Janet Applegate.
Visitation and Funeral Services are private under the direction of Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
