Robyn Renee' (Rowland) Brooks

Robyn Renee’ Brooks (nee Rowland), age 57 years went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday February 23, 2019. Robyn was born April 11, 1961 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and resided in Clarksville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Virdes (Butch) Brooks, her mother, Verona Rowland and father Samuel Rowland, Sr., brothers, Samuel Rowland, Jr. and Larry Rowland.

Robyn graduated from North Harrison High School in 1979. She was employed in the call center at Baptist Health Floyd, formerly Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Robyn will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sister, Johnnye Williams of Clarksville, Indiana, sister-in-law Dawn Hardin of New Albany, Indiana, nephews, Danny, J.C. and Samuel Hartford of Russellville, Kentucky, Doug Noe (Peggy) of Erlanger, Kentucky, Robert S. Williams (Saunie) of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, Nicky Schulz of Jeffersonville, Indiana and T.J. Hardin of New Albany, Indiana. Nieces, Johneen Joseph (Kevin) of Youngstown, Ohio, Lisa Noe of St. Petersburg, Florida, Stephanie Brooks of New Albany, Indiana and Natalie Hardin of New Albany, Indiana. Also by her Aunts, Mary Mitchell of Pfafftown, North Carolina, Ruth Mitchell of Lake Placid, Florida, and 6 great nephews, 3 great nieces, and 4 great great nephews along with many cousins.

Visitation will be 11:00 am ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday, February 27, 2019 and after 11:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel, conducted by Rev. Donald Ray Davis of Faith Chapel General Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
