

Roger B. Conrad, 81 years of age died Monday January 16, 2017 at the V.A. Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born October 27, 1935 in Corydon Indiana to the late Clarence and Myrtle (Reising) Conrad. Roger was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company Truck Plant and was a member and deacon at New Hope Baptist Church in Clarksville, Indiana. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Masons and Kosair Shrine. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marilyn, siblings Harold, Paul and Anna Mae.
Surviving include children Roger D. Conrad, Ronald B. Conrad (Brenda), Richard A. Conrad, Stacy R. Conrad-Steensma; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Jessica, Peyton, Sutton; two great grandchildren, Audrey, Cooper; two siblings, Marjorie Miller and Wayne Conrad; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday and after 9:00 am Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service with military honors will be 12:00 pm Friday at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel. Private burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
