Ronald "Rudd" L. Rutherford

Ronald "Rudd" L. Rutherford, 78, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on May 10, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Ronnie was born on September 17, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Robert Rutherford and Pearl (Johnson) Rutherford.

Ronnie was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Corydon Saddle Club and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Ronnie worked for 40 years as a lineman for the IBEW Union #1393.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Pearl Rutherford; and his siblings, Paul Rutherford, Carl Ott, Kenny Rutherford, and Sharon Miller.

Ronnie is survived by his son, Clint Allen Rutherford; his grandchildren, Simone Hogan (Alex) and Nicolas Rutherford; his two great granddaughters; his brother, David Rutherford (Katrina); and many extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

A funeral service will be held at Kraft Funeral Service on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Ronnie will be entombed privately at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana.
