Ronnie Lunsford, 64, of New Albany, passed away July 8, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd. He was born on December 26, 1954 in Lexington, Kentucky to Irene Monhollen French and the late Clyde Lunsford. He was a member of Newborn Full Gospel Church.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his step-father, McCellon "Dick" French.

He is survived by his mother, Irene French; children, Shavon, Wendy, Brenda, Amanda and Chris ( Amy Noonan); two brothers, Duane Lunsford (Toya) and Dennis Rowe (Cheryl); several grandchildren and a great-grandchild; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service to celebrate his life will be conducted Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with private burial in Kraft Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Thank you uncle Ronnie for your life lessons, thank you for the barbecues, the fishing trips, thank you cheating at cards lol, shuffleboard games, and for always being there throughout my life. I will miss you unc, and although your pain is finally at an end, you fought the good fight and never gave up when most others would have. Suffer no more and rest in peace, love always your nephew Richard Lunsford.
