The entire  Bob and Ruthie Hutchens' family would like to extend their deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved mother. OLPH and the old Scheller Lane neighborhood hold so many wonderful memories for us all.  Rose was a very sweet and special person, one of Ruthie's dearest friends.  I remember waiting for the kindergarten stationwagon (where all of us kids piled in the back, seatbelt-less!) and Rose came walking down the street in a panic.  She was locked out of her house. She and mom devised a plan to lower me through the basement window to climb up the stairs and unlock her door.  Wow, an adventure for a 5-year-old--- 40 years later, I remember it still!  The smile on her face and her laugh will always be remembered.  To her family, from ours, may she be at peace. .  Janet Hutchens Kean

Although I did not meet Rose until she lived at Providence Retirement Home I was impressed with her charm and dignity.  She was a very classy woman and so outgoing and friendly.  She spoke of her family every time I saw her and I am sure she will be greatly missed.

She was a great Aunt to me and a more wonderful Mother to her kids.  I'll miss her and think of her often.  I wish I could be there to say goodbye.  I loved her very much and think fondly of all the memories we all shared.
