

Roy W. Fleshman Jr., 79, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away surrounded by his family on June 10, 2026. Roy was born September 6, 1946, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Roy W. Fleshman Sr. and Wenonah E. (Coffman) Fleshman.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents; his elder brother, Terry Lee Fleshman; and his elder sister, Nancy Joan Stock.
Roy is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Kathryn "Kathy" (Creamer) Fleshman; his two wonderful children, Roy "Dan" Fleshman (Missy) and Stacie Barnes (Chad); his grandson, Trey Fleshman and granddaughter, Emily Barnes; two brothers-in-law, Mike Creamer (Tammy) and Wayne Stock (Jill); three sisters-in-law, Ruthie Adams (Bill), Sharon Hostetler (Larry) and Connie Fleshman; along with many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Roy was a 1965 graduate of Clarksville High School and attended Indiana University Southeast and Bellarmine University. He spent many years working in the marine industry at Jeffboat and other companies. Roy was a retired business owner of Northside Security, Inc. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Clarksville, IN, serving as an usher and member of its Men's Club. Over the years, Roy enjoyed many hobbies, including golfing, fishing, playing Euchre, refereeing basketball and volleyball games, umpiring baseball games, taking road trips, sitting on his front porch, rearranging his garage, spending time with his Bible study group, and hanging out with the guys next door. He loved his "Crazy Cokes" and always reminded his loved ones to, "Watch out for the crazies."
A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a funeral service at 2:00 pm officiated by Friar John Bamman, OFM Conv. Roy will be laid to rest immediately following his funeral at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to Saint Anthony of Padua Men's Club, Lymphoma Research Foundation https://giving.lymphoma.org/, or another preferred organization.
The family extends a special thanks to the St. Croix Hospice staff for its support during this difficult time.
