Sally never a day goes by that you’re not in my thoughts not just once but many times. And I wonder what you and Sharon are doing besides just laughing and telling jokes and eating chocolate and other good things you brought so much goodness and love to the world, I hope that in someway I can bring half as much as you did be at peace

I met sally and Mike through Sacred heart they were always so down to earth made you feel like you Belonged immediately. I really felt like we became friends doing the loaves and fishes lunches
Together at St Luke’s. All of the churches took turns serving every Saturday. It was always fun doing it with Sally and Mike

Sally & Mike make another Indy trip for Kelly’s baby shower!

Kelly’s baby Shower…..
Let me tell you how big!

I have hesitated to send a memory for Sally because words are so inadequate. They cannot begin to capture the essence of this sweet lady. I met sweet Sally at St. Anthony where I not only was privileged to teach but to also work with Sally. What great fun we had! I have 3 biological sisters whom I love. Sally was the sister of my heart. Mike, Sally, Tracy and Sara.. they were a unity... bonded together by their great love for each other. Sally was the epitome of faith, humility, compassion, joy, hope. She was the essence of love because she tried so hard to live like Jesus.... and she succeeded. She touched so many hearts. I lived for the day that my sister Sharon and I could spend time with her. Now I must wait until that day when I meet with her again in heaven's glory. Sally, please save me a spot on a cloud close to yours. My love to all of you, Mike, Sara and Tracy. (and her beloved grands!)

Aunt Sally was a wonderful person. She always had a bright smile on her face. She was so kind and had a loving soul. Rest in peace Aunt Sally. We love you.

Sally is a special person. I had just moved to a new job in the Clarksville area. I had a 5 year old daughter and was a single parent. Sally took care of her until I could find full-time day care. She willingly went out of her way to help me get established. I am so sorry for her family’s loss of a caring wife and loving mother. Maybe the Lord needed another Angel.

Dear Mike, Sara & Tracy,
To know Sally was to love her! Our friendship spans many years and we have shared so many wonderful fun times, vacations and holidays together. Although sometimes distance kept us apart we were always close at heart. As we kept moving forward in life so did Sally. She always joined us with a new adventure in life. We have always been an integral part of each of our families and shared the blessings of marriage, children and grandchildren as life progressed. We still had many dreams but life was cut too short for Sally. She lived life well and to the fullest and will be missed dearly by so many that she meant so much too. She has left a wonderful legacy of a beautiful family that she cherished so much to carry on her dreams of tomorrow. We wish you all strength and love to continue the beautiful love of your family that meant so much to Sally.

Love to All,
Jean & Mike

Sally was such a sweet friend, she always had a smile and would bring up your spirits with love.
We met Sally after we had our son Micah 39 years ago and she was our baby sitter that lived just 2 houses down.
Friends forever Sally and we will meet you up there someday.

Aunt Sally was always smiling. She always seemed happy.
I will miss here excitement for life, and hearing her stories about her amazing grandkids.
I will never forget her, and I hope to visit with her again one day.
Sending love and prayers,

Richard Gilles & family

My deepest sympathy the the Hayden family on the loss of Sally. A couisin on her mom's side Tracy's. Her mom & my mom were 2nd cousins. My regards to Sue, her sister, & husband and family may she rest in the Lord's house prayers sent.

Sally has a delightful personality. Once you met her you felt comfortable and became great friends. To us it was like we'd know each other for a long time. She accepted us as friends and was so easy to talk with. She seemed to always be positive even throughout her illness. We will miss her veryuch but now God has this wonderful person to help with his work. Be open and accepting of her finding was to communicate with you. She will sure try in little ways. Love, Jeff and Sharon

So sorry to hear this Mike, Sara and Tracy. Sally always brought a smile and her laughter to our Dunbar Dr. group. Our group was made better when your family moved in. Love and prayers for all. Gayle Keilman Chalk

Mike, Sara, and Tracy: The day way back 41 years ago when my mom and dad got he news that Sally was getting married we were all so happy beyond words. From that day on I felt like I had a new family, well then came Sara my first niece, then Tracy both beautiful girls, who with the love and great family life grew to be very beautiful women. My family has grown with the addition of Hayden and Stephen and Thor, who are all the very best in my eyes! I love you all, and the person who made that all happen I believe was my sister Sal, who over the years, well let me just say we never really saw eye to eye. But I did love her and will miss her so very much, Mike you and Sally gave me a family I never thought I would have. You were here for me when Tim passed and I am so very sorry I could not say goodbye to my one and only sister. She is in a better place now and we shall all join her some day. Again I love you all and always will. RIP my sweet sister Love always until we meet again.

I’m so sad to hearthis. Sally a I went from kindergarten through high school. She was such a good person. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Fondly Pam Urtz Gydesen

Sara, your mom was so loved and loving. She was so kind I am so sorry for your loss

Oh my gosh....so many memories from St. Anthony Youth Ministries days. Sally was a friend and always willing and able to help out when needed, from cooking after the 30 hour famine, fundraising, trips, being on the leadership team, heading up the spaghetti dinners. My fondest memory was one of the NCYC adventures. We were so tired after several days that we went to a movie and slept through it. My time at St. Anthonys was blessed because of the Hayden Family. Love, Peace and Comfort are being prayed for all.

Mike, I am so sorry for your loss. A loss is never easy but this time of year makes it harder. Stay strong and know Sally is always with you

There are not enough words to describe what Sally meant to me. We worked and/or worshiped at three different parishes. I could never decide if she was more like a Mother or a sister. I loved her in both roles. She gave excellent parenting advice, strengthened my faith and oh the fun we had. She was so proud of Sara and Tracy❤️ . Her grandchildren were the light of her life. I ache for “Daddy Dog” . Mike and Sally’s marriage was one for all of us to emulate… pure joy! I am counting on her to guide me to heaven where I’m sure she has seen the face of God.
