Sara E. Thompson Neuling

Sara E. Neuling, 84 years of age died Friday, January 28, 2012 at Suburban Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born March 23, 1927 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Aaron and Sallie Thompson. Sara retired from both Sears in Louisville and Target in New Albany. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany, St. Anthony of Padua Fraternity for Secular Franciscans, and was a volunteer for Friends for Life Cancer Support Network in Louisville. Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Neuling.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.

The family requests expressions of sympathy go to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Mount St. Francis.
