Saundra Jean Smith passed on September 12, 2026, at the age of 62. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 13, 1964, to the late Cecil and Ruth Tyrrell Dennis. She was a retired barber and medical coder. She was an avid fan of the shows, Big Brother and The Real Housewives.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Noah "Wayne" Smith; a sister, Staci Dennis; a brother, Mike Dennis; and brother in laws, Hank Hightower and Dave Hornback.
Saundra is survived by her son, Matthew Smith (Stephanie); sisters, Barbara Hornback and Stephanie Dennis; brothers, Billy Dennis and David Dennis (Shannon); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, on September 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with her funeral service beginning at 2:00. Burial will be private at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
