Shelby "Jim" Byerley

Shelby “Jim” Byerley, 76, died Wednesday January 29, 2014 at Floyd memorial Hospital in New Albany with his family and friends at his side. He was born August 11, 1937 in Corydon, Indiana to the late Shelby and Zettabell Byerley. Shelby was retired from Paramount Plywood in New Albany after 33 years of employment, and then worked as a custodian for the New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation for 8 years.

Tenia Reid (Dwayne)

Betty White (James Taylor)

Grandsons: Stephen Mercer, Donnie Mercer, Timmy Reid, Dwayne Reid II

Granddaughters: Stephany Mercer, Sarah Buckel, Kristie Reid, Jessica lakin

Great-Grandchildren: Cheyenne Adams, Austin Adams, Terry Shaver, Joey Jones, Titus Reid, Shelby Reid, Xavier Reid, Olivia Shaver, Carley Shaver, Steven Mercer, Stella Mercer, Isabella Elliot, Payton Reid, Jaylynn Crum

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and after 9:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with graveside service to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
