Sheri R. Becker

Sheri R. Becker, 61, of New Albany, Indiana passed away March 31, 2024 at Baptist Health Floyd. She was born in Soap Lake, Washington on May 3, 1962 to the late Roy and Janet (Smith) Scott. Sheri attended public school in Alma, Michigan before attending and graduating from New Albany High School. Sheri earned a bachelor's and master's degree in education and followed her passion to teach elementary aged children including those with special needs. In retirement, she greatly missed teachers who had become her good friends. Sheri is survived by her partner, Rob Casey; her son, Kyle (Sarah) Becker; her brothers, Mark Scott and Troy Scott; her sister, Heather Scott; her step-mom, Sue Scott; her step-sisters, Gina (Jim) Thomas and Lori (Ken) Lombardi-Davis and many nieces and nephews, aunts, an uncle and several cousins. Sheri's family will hold a memorial from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150.
