SSG David Marshall Alford

SSG David Marshall Alford, 71, of New Albany, Indiana passed away March 23, 2020 at Sellerburg Healthcare. He was born on May 11, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Joseph Earl Alford and Alice Beach Berry. He was drafted during the Vietnam War into the United States Army where he served over 20 years and was the former manager of the Video Vault. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Carl Alford; step-father, Herman L. Berry; a step-brother, Herman L. Berry Jr. He is survived by two children, Tracy Lee Alford and Roy Lee Alford; granddaughter, Kassy D. Alford; four great granddaughters; and siblings, Edna Lee Thompson, Barbara Faye Jordan, Vicki Lynn Carnes, Norma Gale Maitland and Kevin W. Berry. Visitation and funeral services are private under the direction of Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road with entombment in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
