Stephanie B. Lindsey Wood

A memorial service for Stephanie B. Taylor Wood, 58, of New Albany, will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at Galatian Baptist Church, 2020 Maryland Ave., New Albany. She died Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.

She was born May 4, 1952, to the late Richard Lindsey and Mary Taylor in New Albany. She was a 14-year employee of the old Robinson & Nugent Electronic Company in New Albany. She was formerly a member of Galatian Baptist Church in New Albany, and was currently a member of New Horizon Worship Center in Louisville.

Survivors include her children, Wesley “Ty” Taylor, of New Albany, Carmen Montgomery, of Louisville, Adrian Wood and Jason Taylor, both of New Albany; grandchildren, Garrett Raven, Wesley Jr., Brooklyn, Tyrianna, Jordan, and Kristian and Gabrielle; great-grandchild, Braylon; siblings, Robert Alexander, Connie Webster and her husband, Ron, Chester Alexander and his wife, Shaun, Myron Alexander and his wife, Mona, Carmen Fowler and her husband, William, Wade Lindsey and Tina Humphrey and her husband, Jeff.

Cremation was chosen and Kraft Funeral Services, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, is in charge of the arrangements.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
