Stephen "Steve" Lee Heavrin

Stephen Lee Heavrin, age 56, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. Stephen was born on March 27, 1968, in New Albany, Indiana to the late William and Sharon Ann Heavrin. He was a true outdoorsman and loved guns, hunting, fishing and NASCAR. Steve loved spending time with his family and friends. Steve was a very skilled carpenter for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Michael Franklin Heavrin.

Steve is survived by his wife, Tabitha Heavrin; siblings, Robin Messer, Ricky Heavrin, Cathy Nichols and Teresa Heavrin; children, Briana (William Burleson) Keller, Kaylin (Jacob) Reid, Paige (Danny Carter) Burchett, Ciera (Matt) Baumgartle and Cole (Shelby) Holland; 13 grandchildren, Adrianne, Aiden, Tristan, Adalee, Ava, Gracyn, Leo, Ellis, Dawson, Rosalie, Damian, Augustus and Tyrion; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with a memorial service beginning at 6:00 pm. Steve will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
