Stephen "Steve" W. Schroder

Stephen "Steve" Schroder, 76, of Memphis, Indiana passed away July 23, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1945 in New Albany, Indiana to the late John R and Martha Schroder. He was a retired truck driver with Teamsters #89. He was a member of the American Legion Post 28, a member of the VFW, the Masonic Lodge 249 and the Moose Lodge Scottsburg. He was a United States Navy Decorated Veteran during Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, David Schroder. Steve is survived by his wife of 34 years, Gloria Schroder; three children, Shawn (Shelley) Schroder, Shane (Suzette) Mitchell and Shannon (Bill) Masden; five grandchildren, Alexis, Jack, Shannon, Braxton and Brayden; two siblings, Donnie (Beverly) Schroder and Gary (Gina) Schroder; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at noon on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the funeral home with private burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
