Susan Kay James, age 63, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. She was born on June 23, 1959 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Bill and Mary Hawkins. Susan was a 10 year employee with Glantz Sign and Graphics in Louisville. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rob James; and brother, Pat Hawkins.
Susan is survived by her sons, Will James, Brandon Davie (NaKisha), Allen Powers; siblings, Jan Sherrell (Brad), Steve Hawkins (Amy), Jeanne Hawkins; and two grandsons. Susan's kind and generous spirit will be missed by all family and friends.
A reception of family and friends for Susan will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM.
Susan will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
