Tammy Lynn (Shope) Casey

Tammy Lynn (Shope) Casey, age 58 passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Tammy was born June 11, 1965 in New Albany, Indiana to Wayne and Evelyn Logsdon Shope. Tammy loved to read, she loved being outside in the sun, she loved cooking using inspiration from her mother’s recipes, and she enjoyed lounging by the pool. She loved her animals tremendously, and she provided a loving home to many over the years. She was a diehard Kenny Chesney and Elvis fan, but ultimately she loved to take care of people. She was kind, thoughtful, considerate and she was an amazing mother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn; grandmother, Reba Logsdon; grandmother, Zelma Packwood; uncle, Harold Logsdon; and uncle, Garry Shope. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Wheeler (Andrew); son, Michael Casey (Jenny); step-daughter, Shawn Henderson (Scott); step-son, Steve Casey (Elicia); father, Wayne Shope; brother, Rick Shope; grandson, Jacob Henderson; and her beloved dogs, Hank and Harvey. A visitation for Tammy will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service.
