Terry was born July 19, 1956 in Louisville, the son of Robert and Elaine Thompson. He was an ironworker, member of Ironworkers Local #70 in Louisville and a former Cub Master for Pack #112 in Southern Indiana. Terry was a wonderful dad to his son Tristan and will be missed by all his family and many friends. Survivors include son, Tristan Thompson; mother, Elaine Thompson Hampton, Jeffersonville, IN; loving companion, Diana Henry, New Albany; brother, Bobby Thompson, Louisville; sisters, Brenda Thompson (Terry), Dallas, TX, Debbie Armstrong (Brian), Six Mile, SC and Patty Russell (William), Spencer, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be noon-7 p.m. Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. His funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Kraft Charlestown Road Funeral Chapel with cremation to follow Expressions of sympathy to: his son Tristan Thompson
