

Thelma Busald Beswick, 97 years of age died Friday, December 31, 2010 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Thelma was born October 15, 1913 in New Albany to the late Edward C. and Olivia (Baker) Busald. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany. Thelma lived a long and happy life. She always had a smile on her face and good food on the table open to all. Her great devotion to the rosary benefited many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. “Bits” Beswick; brother, Edward A. Busald; sisters, Geneva Gorsuch, Elizabeth Baker, Marianne Busald, and Dorothy Busald.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Lou Detrick of New Albany; grandchildren, Diana L. Huff (Kenny), Donita K. Detrick (Mark Potter), Michael C. Detrick (Amy), Michelle B. Wells (Blair); great grandchildren, Kerrie Jo Owens (Adam), Christy Robinson, who helped care for her great grandmother, Shelby and Marley Wells, Chelsey and Ethan Detrick

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 11:30 am Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 129 W.
