Thomas K. "Tom" Habermel

Thomas K. “Tom” Habermel, 70 years of age died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Tom was a native of New Albany, the owner and operator of Habermel Construction, and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Clarksville. He was blessed with the gift of 17 years of life to spend with his family following a heart transplant in 1993.

Brian Habermel Jeffersonville, IN

Noel Dawson (Michael) Lombard, IL

Brother: Fred Habermel (Dru) Crestwood, KY

Grandchildren: Corey Habermel, Cassie Morris, Maggie Morris

Kyle Habermel, Clara Dawson, Molly Habermel,

and Annie Dawson

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St, New Albany. His Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Monday at St. Anthony’s Church with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.
