Tracy Joann (Douglas) Rowan

Tracy JoAnn (Douglas) Rowan passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 62. Tracy was born on April 29, 1963, in New Albany, Indiana to the late Charles Brown and Cyrila Douglas. Tracy first began working at Floyd Memorial Hospital before she began her 26-year career with Bruce Fox, Inc. in May of 1999. Throughout her dedicated years here, she worked in the etching department where she was known as “Etcher II.” She was said to be a delight to work with and took great pride in her job, which included perfecting the company’s custom recognition awards.

In addition to her dedicated career, Tracy loved spending time with her family and friends. She also filled her time with movies, music, and cooking. She also attended Second Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana.

Tracy is survived by her four loving children, Dawn (Sylvester Jr.) Wallace, Brittany Douglas, Raymona Crawford, and James Douglas; three siblings, Luna Joyce Douglas, Richard Douglas, and Robert Douglas; twelve wonderful grandchildren, Jaila, Janae, Jasmin, Jamauria, Braylan, Brooklynn, Malania, Jamora, Jaceon, Jussean, Dalaya, and Jameka; three great grandchildren; and she was also adored by three nieces and two nephews.

A Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a funeral service to be held at the funeral home at 3:00 pm. The family has chosen cremation following the conclusion of services.
