Twila M. Rouck

Twila M. (Price) Rouck, 94, returned home to her Father and those dear to her who have gone before her on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany. The daughter of the late George and Hazel (Kirk) Price, Twila was born September 12, 1917 in Center Point, Iowa. She was a registered nurse and retired from Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Twila was a veteran of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps and was a member of the American Legion Bonnie Slone Post #28, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany, St. Mary’s Altar Society and Merry Makers Square Dance Club. She volunteered at Providence Retirement Home and Meals On Wheels. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Rouck, Jr., and sisters, Edrie Wassmer and Nedrie Pfluhaupt.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday, September 14, 2012 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany IN. A Rosary Service will be 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Her Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday, September 15, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Albany with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Providence Retirement Home.
