Violet Lena Osborn

Violet Lena Osborn, 95, of Sellerburg, Indiana passed away June 21, 2021 at Maple Manor Christian Home. She was born on May 26, 1926 in Preston, Iowa to the late John and Inez Beck. She was retired from McCormick Schillings and attended Northside Christian Church in New Albany. She was an avid gardener, she loved crafting, reading and Dr. Phil.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn W. Osborn; and siblings, Maxine Harder, Earl Beck, Dorothy Beck, Irene Risinger, Edith Viviani, Johnny Beck, Dillon Beck, Ethel Beck and Mary Ann Beck.

Violet is survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Calfee, Kathy (David) Mixter and Diane Osborn; a son, Larry Osborn; grandchildren, Michele (Greg) Hobbs, Tammy Mixter, Pamela (Jason) Hilgeman, Danny (Tammy) Mixter, Brandon (Jennifer) Simmons, Jeffery (April) Simmons and Carrie (Chad) Wilson; great-grandchildren, Matthew Hobbs, Seth Hobbs, Joshua Bellinger, Abigail Bellinger, Tyler Hilgeman, Zachary Hilgeman, Samuel Hilgeman, Addie Mixter, Ameera Mixter, Josiah Mixter, Kayla (Cameron) Furnish, Kyle Wilson, Tiffany Simmons, Trevor Simmons, Shiloh Simmons and Kaia Simmons; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, June 25, 2021 and from 10:00 am to Noon on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at Noon on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the funeral home with private burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
