Vivian June (Ison) Walker, 75 years of age died Tuesday, May 17th 2011 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. Vivian was born November 17th 1935 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Isom Ison and Leona Bell Bishop. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker, an interpreter for the deaf, and a member of Graceland Baptist Church. Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Walker, and son, Charles Craig Walker
Survivors include her children, Richard Keith Walker, Myra Annette Merrill, Russell Kent Walker, Marlyce Kay Walker; half sister Thelma Ison Moore; grandchildren,Curtis Ray Merrill, Karina Lynn Merrill
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel with entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
