W. Edward "Ed" Hay, age 80, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. He was born December 21, 1940 in Louisville to the late Lyman and Ernestine Hay. Ed was a retired supervisor from Ford Motor Co., a lifetime member of the NRA , and a competitive member of the Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club. Ed was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Floyds Knobs.
Ed is survived by his; two children, Tori (William) Prifogle and Mark (Kathy) Hay; grandchildren, Joshua Owen (Shannon) Emmett, Erica (Joshua) White, Garrett (Brittany) Hay, Cory (Brittany Jo) Hay; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey White, Mikayla White, Lachlan Emmett, Colt Hay, Granger Hay and Sadie Hay.
A visitation for Ed will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, IN. A funeral service will occur Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service.
Ed will be laid to rest in Cave Hill Cemetery, Louisville, KY next to his wife of 61 years who passed away on October 17, 2021.
