Warren "Parke" Schad Sr., age 81, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Warren was born in New Albany, Indiana on February 11, 1944 to the late William H. Schad and Opal Amy Schad. He was a graduate of New Albany High School and Louisville Technical School. Parke was a retired purchasing agent with The Merrick Company and was a member of Southeast Christian Church. He was a founding member of the Ohio Valley Bass Fishing Club and enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, William "Buddy" Schad; and a sister, Bonnie Bauer.
Parke was survived by his wife, Shannon Schad; two children, Parke Schad Jr. (Melanie) and Kim Dues (David); grandchildren, Ian Schad, Aidan Schad, Avery Schad, Abigail Dues, Samantha Dues, Trevor Grady, Evan Grady and Bryce Grady; a great grandson, Jaxon Grady.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the WHAS Crusade for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
