Wesley B. Shoemaker, age 62, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Wesley was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Roger Warren Shoemaker and Henrietta (Cheek) Sayre. Wesley was an avid hunter and loved to fish. He was known for being a jack of all trades and was always there to help his friends and family.
Wesley is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Nancy Davis and brother, Roger Shoemaker.
Wesley is survived by his brother, Warren (Doris) Shoemaker; and his loving companion, Annita Mason.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
