William Anthony “Tony” Hofelich, Jr., 70 years of age died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Tony was born August 4, 1943 in Louisville to the late William and Myrtle Hofelich, Sr. He was the former owner and operator of Myers and Hofelich Landscaping. Along with his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Zehnder and Roy Hofelich.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth “Snookie” Rippy Hofelich; daughters, Toni Elisia Maggard, Kelly Jo Barnes; sons, Russell Matthew Hofelich,
David Scott Hofelich; sisters, Dixie Sue Klinstiver, Carolyn Faye Hofelich; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Memorial Service will be 6:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home chapel.
