William F. Linne Sr., 67, died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He was born May 4, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Phillip and Virginia Dukes Linne. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Hunt Linne. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the American Legion, VFW, 40 & 8, and NRA.
He is survived by his children, Cathy Deaver (Tony Deaver), Dawn Linne (Brad Tush), Diana Linne (Bill Ballard), and William “Billy” Linne Jr. (Katie); step children, Tammie Juliot (Troy) and Richard Hampton (Kaylani); 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; sister, Sheila Linne; and former wife, Sharon Linne.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 10:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home chapel with private entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
