William Matthew "Matt" McKinney

William Matthew "Matt" McKinney 43, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at home with his family by his side. He was a graduate of Moore High School and University of Louisville. Matt was an avid University of Kentucky fan, golfer and member of Southeast Christian Church. The family would like to specially thank the doctors and nurse of Cancer Care Center of Southern Indiana and his supervisors and coworkers from St. Vincent-Salem Hospital for all of their love and support. Matt's presence will be greatly missed by many, but wonderful memories will live forever. He is survived by his loving wife, Natalie (West) McKinney; son, Patrick McKinney; daughters, Anna Lopez, Jennifer Lopez and Sarah McKinney; grandchildren, Aiden Hunter and Kaitlyn Witzel; parents, Bill and Sammy McKinney; parents-in-law, Tommy and Pattie Thomerson; sister and brother-in-law, Kelley and Craig Welch; brothers-in-law, Shawn West and Greg Thomerson; nieces and nephews, Justin Kyle McKinley, Karey Sweasy, Evan Welch and Marcos Welch; best friend, Gary Roth; and many other loved ones. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany. Funeral is 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with cremation to follow.
