William Hugh "Bill" Thomas of New Albany, IN, passed away March 23, 2021. Bill was born February 5, 1942 in Louisville, KY. He was a graduate of New Albany High School, the University of Louisville and served in the United States Army. Bill worked for Standard Gravure, loved golf and building houses.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Martin Thomas, his mother, Marguerite (Mumford), and his wife, Sharon Rose (Zuberer).
He is survived by his son, Billy (Symantha), New Salisbury, IN; sister, Judith Krecker, Ocean Springs, MS; sister, Connie (J.W.) Mahurin, Hunterville, NC; granddaughter, Shelby (Max) Dikin, Coal City, IN; nephew, Martin (Kelly) Krecker, Mobile, AL; niece, Melissa Mahurin, Charlotte, NC; niece, Elizabeth (Reza) Ghamsari, Woodland Hills, CA; niece, Deidre (Kyle) Childers, Marion, IL; and niece, Mary (Randy) Buck, Mooresville, NC.
A service will be held for the family. Bill will be laid to rest with his wife at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
