

William F. “Bill” Thompson, 75 years of age died Wednesday June 20th, 2012 at his residence in Greenville, Indiana. Bill was born November 27th, 1936 in Bay City Michigan to the late Eldon L. and Winifred Gale Thompson and was the widower of Ramona Joyce Thompson his wife of some 28 years who died March 10th, 2012. Bill along with his wife Ramona were the owners and operators of Bill’s Pawn and Jewelry in Louisville, Kentucky for the past 32 years. He was a member of the Kentucky and National Pawn Brokers Associations, National Wild Turkey Federation, N.R.A. and National Federation of Independent Businesses. Bill loved the lake, outdoors, hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his family surrounded by nature. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him but most of all by his family.

Two Great-Grandchildren: Hayden Neafus and Taylynn Wilson.

Reception of family and friends will be from 12:00 noon until 7:00 pm Friday June 22nd and after 9:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Procession from Kraft Spring St. at 10:00 am Saturday June 23rd, with graveside burial service at 11:00 am Saturday at Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington, Indiana. Memorial contributions may go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
