Wilma S. Sorg, 93, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. Wilma was born in Bee Rock, Kentucky on April 25, 1929, to the late Loyd and Hattie Ramsey Strunk. She was a retired Nurse's Aide at Floyd Memorial Hospital for many years. Wilma was a member of Greenville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Sorg; siblings, Mary Tompkins, Thelma McDaniel, Sylvia Canada, Evelyn Canada and Nelson Strunk.
She is survived by a nephew, Terry Reed and a great nephew, Tim Knight.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the funeral home with private burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
