Albert Jesus, 87, of Dartmouth, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026. Born on August 22, 1939, in Acushnet, he was the son of the late Jesuina (Duarte) Jesus. Albert resided in Dartmouth for the past 11 years and previously lived in Fairhaven.
A United States Air Force veteran, Albert served his country with honor. In his working life, he was employed by the Titleist Golf Division, where he trained employees and traveled for the company—roles that reflected his practical knowledge and his ability to guide others with patience and clarity. Known as a true “jack of all trades,” he also brought capable hands and steady determination to many kinds of work, including roofing, carpentry, and garage door installation.
Albert’s life was enriched by the people closest to him. He is survived by his daughter, Chris Jardin; his partner of 11 years, Maureen Burgo; his sister, Sandra Brown, and her late husband, Robert; and his grandchildren, Tori, Taylor, Brett, and Shawn, who were a deep source of pride and love. He is also survived by his nephews, David and Scott Brown. Albert was preceded in death by his daughter, Terry Jesus, and his son, Robert Jesus.
In his personal life, Albert found joy in music, movement, and time shared with those he loved. He enjoyed dancing with Maureen at local establishments, and he brought people together as a D.J. at the Fairhaven Recreational Center. A golfer as well, he appreciated the simple pleasures of the game. Above all, he loved his grandchildren, and that love remained at the center of his life.
