Born in Acushnet he lived most of his life in New Bedford. He was the son of the late Francisco Santos and Joaquina (Luiz) Santos.
Mr. Santos worked at the Acushnet Company for 43 years until his retirement as a supervisor. He enjoyed all sports, especially golf.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his three sons, Steve Santos and his wife Nancy of South Carolina, Kevin Santos of New Bedford, Michael Santos and his wife Sharon of Rochester, three daughters; Sharon Gamache and her husband Richard, Jane Silveira and her late husband Paul, Lori Crovello and her husband Robert, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
His private funeral arrangements are in the care of the ROCK Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA.
