Mr. Paiva worked as a brick layer in the construction industry for 10 years.
He is survived by a daughter: Shannon Paiva of New Bedford, two sons: Jordan Paiva of New Bedford, Daniel Paiva of Fall River, one grandson Duetra Haith and two granddaughters Milena and Nadia Paiva, one sister: Genoveva Teixeira and her husband Armindo of New Bedford, one niece: Elizabeth Beaman of Florida and one nephew: Michael Teixeira of Florida.
His visitation will be held Tuesday December 20, 2016 from 5-7pm at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford. His funeral Mass will be held Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, 136 Earle Street. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
