Brian D. Maguire

Brian D. Maguire, age 34, died on Thursday, September 15, 2016. A lifelong resident of New Bedford, he was the beloved son of Dennis and Susan (Bociek) Maguire. Brian attended New Bedford High School and was employed by Harvey Industries.

Brian was a warm, gentle soul with an enormous heart and a large desire for helping others. He took much pride in his work and cherished praise and compliments. Brian also loved his family and those close to him. As he faced challenges, he was grateful to those who were non-judgmental and offered support, love, and thoughtful advice. Brian will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times and we know he is now able to rest peacefully.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Erin H. Maguire and her husband Jason Chisholm of Lakeville, a brother: Ross E. Maguire and his wife Morgan of Andover, maternal grandparents: Stephen Bociek and the late Paula Foley, paternal grandparents: William and Dolores Maguire and three nephews: Quinn, Logan and Noah. He also leaves behind loving & caring aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends
