Cecile L. Boyer

Mrs. Boyer initially worked as a pattern maker in the garment industry and later provided compassionate care as a home health aid in the greater New Bedford Community. She was very active in the professional community and enjoyed working with the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, The United Labor Union Council of Greater New Bedford and Cape Cod and as a community leader with the United Way.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends in Florida and other sunny places. When possible, she was always up for a fun trip to the casino or just to play cards with family and friends.

She was the wife of the late George Pestana and Paul Boyer.

She is survived by two brothers, Francis Ouellette and Richard Ouellette as well many nieces, nephews, cousins, God children and friends.
