Born in Acushnet, a daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Duarte) Teves she was a lifelong area resident.
Cecilia was a homemaker and she was an avid animal lover.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Cecilia was the sister of the late Alfred F. Teves, Arthur F. Teves, Manuel F. Teves, Jr., and Irene F. Sousa.
